Matthew Modine was one of the last stars cast by Christopher Nolan in 'The Dark Knight Rises,' and his top-secret role was apparently of the heavy variety. Back in May, Showbiz411 writer Roger Friedman revealed that Modine would play Nixon, "a politician and a key villain" in the highly anticipated 'Dark Knight' sequel. Cool! Though judging from these new set pics of Modine filming 'The Dark Knight Rises' in NY, Modine's "Nixon" isn't an ordinary politician. For one, he rolls with Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character and the rest of the Gotham City Police Department; for another, he likes playing around with... ladies pink underwear?
